Position Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer manages Microsoft Domains, Microsoft Windows Servers, and other mission-critical enterprise-level systems. They maintain virtual machines and physical servers, work with Cloud technologies and SaaS solutions. The Senior Systems Engineer has exceptional communications and customer service skills, is proactive, and focuses on constant improvement and follow-through at all levels; possesses strong technical problem-solving skills; in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products Azure and Office 365.
They take ownership of issues, work independently, escalates problems when needed, find creative ways to resolve problems, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly, and concisely present complicated computer concepts to end-users with differing skill levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related technical field OR 4 years equivalent relevant or technical job experience.
- Four years of relevant work experience focused on one or more of the following:
Microsoft Domain, SCCM, Intune, Windows Servers, Azure, Office 365, VMWare, Citrix, other cloud technologies, and/or SaaS solutions. - Active advanced or expert certification related to systems (servers, virtualization, VDI, cloud services, Active Directory, Intune/Autopilot, SCCM, or other technologies). If hired, a certification approved by the manager must be accomplished within 90 days after hire date.

5+ years of relevant work experience focused on one or more of the following:
Microsoft Domain, SCCM, Windows Servers, Azure, Office 365, VMWare, Citrix, other cloud technologies, and/or SaaS solutions. - Microsoft MSCE and advanced certifications in any of the following technologies Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Azure, Physical Storage, or Cloud certifications.
