Race Trac Company Overview

• Resolve maintenance and services issues at the Race Trac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increasing the profitability of the company.
• Treat stained areas with chemical degreaser and completely pressure wash sections of the store each day.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas.
• Maintain all trash on site during the shift.
• Ensure each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, food service/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provide project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Respond to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Work with other ASTs to cross train in multiple trades.
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand and reach while on the job.

• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures required.
• Ability to use common tools and office equipment required.
• Food and beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment preferred.
• Basic Microsoft office knowledge.
• 4+ years work experience preferred.
