Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead daily maintenance operations in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and managing preventive maintenance programs while leading a team of technicians to support production goals and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of work orders
Respond quickly to production breakdowns and minimize downtime
Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance (PM) programs
Lead and mentor a team of 10–20 maintenance technicians
Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and safety standards

Project & Budget Management

Plan and execute maintenance-related projects to improve efficiency
Monitor and control maintenance budgets
Track KPIs such as:
- Downtime reduction
- Cost savings
- Equipment performance

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with production and cross-functional teams
Communicate maintenance standards and expectations
Act as escalation point for maintenance-related issues

Additional Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
Identify and resolve equipment performance issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives

Must-Have Requirements

3–6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role
Experience leading teams of 10–20 employees
Strong experience with:
- Preventive maintenance programs
- Production equipment troubleshooting
Knowledge of:
- Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Familiarity with OSHA and USDA regulations

Required Skills

Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance practices
