**** Position Summary
*** Responsible for loading, stacking, and transporting finished gummy products from the debuck area to the WIP area, properly labeling the dollies, and recording the information within the Master Batch Record.
* Responsible for loading starch bags or drums into the mogul starch reservoir.
* Responsible for organizing and staging products together in the WIP area.
* Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading both starch and WIP trays through the tray washer equipment.
* Responsible for operating and overseeing the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) robots from the product tunnels.
* Responsible for selecting and loading tunnel drying recipes and properly recording them within the Master Batch Record.
* Assists in disassembling equipment and cleaning it in accordance with specific job instruction procedures.
* Washes and dries utensils, pans, tanks, and other containers. Uses a variety of cloths, brushes, brooms, and cleaning agents to clean rooms where products are prepared and stored, ensuring they meet sanitary GMP requirements.
** Responsibilities
* ** Performs all duties in compliance with safety procedures and adherence to quality programs.
* Applies the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to charge and yield products.
* Maintains routine cleaning logs and sanitation records.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Education High school diploma or GED required.
Certification No certifications are required for this position.
Experience1–2 years of work experience required at this level.
Ability to work in a diverse team environment. Working knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse processes, or a combination of skills, knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn, is recommended.
** Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
*** Manual dexterity to manipulate controls of scales, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
* English communication skills to maintain routine logs and records, communicate with supervisors and others, and read batch records, operating instructions, and safety regulations.
* Physical ability to stand for most of the shift, regularly pull, push, and lift heavy containers, and perform all duties safely.
* Ability to interact with Automated Guided Vehicles via Human Machine Interface (HMI).
* Ability to select and record programmed recipes via Human Machine Interface (HMI).
** Physical Requirements
*** Stand or walk for the full work shift.
* Perform repetitive job duties for extended periods.
* Pull, push, and lift boxes, drums, and similar loads up to
** 50 pounds more than 50% of the time**.
* Push or pull containers weighing up to
** 160 pounds
** using a pallet jack in congested areas.
* Lift and load
** 50-pound bags of starch to stomach level repeatedly**.
** Work Environment
*** Constant exposure to noise levels requiring employees to wear hearing protection.
* Warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, and dust that may cause minor discomfort.
* Cleaning chemicals present in the area requiring personal protective equipment.
