Forklift Driver

West Fraser is seeking a safety-focused Forklift Driver to support lumber production at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and load lumber and wood products, support shipping and receiving, and maintain accurate inventory and documentation. You will inspect equipment, follow lock-out and safety procedures, and help keep yard and warehouse areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload lumber and wood products
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging and loading outbound orders
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete basic shipping/receiving documentation
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues or safety concerns
• Follow all safety, environmental, and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Organize and maintain clean, efficient yard and warehouse areas
• Coordinate with production and shipping teams to meet schedules and quality standards
• Handle products to prevent damage and ensure proper storage practices
