Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensure improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.

• Minimum Education
  • Associate degree in nursing or equivalent
• Minimum Experience
  • 2 years of recent ICU experience with a Med-Surg background
• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Alabama Board of Nursing License ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer date BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date PALS within 90 days of hire or transfer date NIHSS w/in 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion)
• Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Preferred Experience
  • Prefer 5 years of Critical Care experience
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
  • CCRN OR PCRN within 2 years of DOH or transfer
