Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Reports To:

Store Manager, Warehouse Manager

Schedule:

9am – 5pm with rotating Saturdays

The full-time universal associate is a flexible and reliable team member capable of performing all warehouse/donation pickup responsibilities and some front of house responsibilities. This role supports daily operations in sales, customer service, donations and logistics. Associate will help to ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for customers, donors, volunteers and staff.

• Receive, sort, and price incoming donations as directed
• Move merchandise to and from the sales floor
• Assist with staging, organization and cleaning of warehouse areas
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks and other equipment as trained

• Drive ReStore truck to pick up scheduled donations
• Provide professional and courteous service to donors
• Load and unload items using proper lifting and securing methods
• Complete donation forms and maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Greet and assist customers with purchases and inquiries
• Operate the cash register and process sales accurately
• Restock shelves and merchandise donations attractively
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the retail area
• Enforce store policies and support loss prevention efforts
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid Alabama driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
• Able to tolerate extreme heat and cold conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. regularly
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Self-motivated, flexible and mission-driven
• Retail or warehouse experience is a plus
• Clean MVR, criminal background check, drug screening
