This is a full-time on-site role for a Counter Sales Associate located in Opelika, AL. The Counter Sales Associate will assist customers with their purchases, provide product knowledge, and process sales transactions.

Responsibilities include maintaining organized and well-stocked inventory displays, coordinating customer orders, supporting sales and promotional activities, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Additionally, providing guidance on product use and offering training support when necessary is an essential aspect of the role.

• Strong communication and active listening skills to address customer needs effectively
• Proficiency in customer service and the ability to foster positive customer relationships
• Sales expertise, including engaging customers and recommending appropriate products
• Experience in training others and basic sales management is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic computer skills to process transactions and manage inventory systems
• Familiarity with irrigation, landscaping, or related products is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are advantageous
