Essential Responsibilities
- Make repairs and install irrigation as needed.
- Check irrigation system daily for leaks, dry areas and normal operation.
- Maintain the mechanical and electrical components of the irrigation system and pump station.
- Assist with maintaining inventory.
- Assist with maintaining water, pump station, liquid fertilizer usage logs and records.
- Assist with irrigation schedules and computer programming.
- Monitor water levels on all lakes.
- Assist with preventative maintenance of designated system.
- Monitor watering during the over seeding process and fertilizer applications on the course.
- Perform preventative maintenance and curative maintenance on pump stations. Operate main pumps and pump controllers.
- Required to work overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed or scheduled.
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
