Excellerate Electrician I

The Excellerate Electrician I is responsible for electrical assemblies and installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, and completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
  • Travel: 10-25%.
Work Schedule

Between the hours of 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • All previous classification requirements must be continually satisfied.
  • Demonstrate ability to layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders.
  • Analyze blueprints effectively.
  • Ensure all projects are built to specifications and accuracy expectations.
  • Clean and maintain workstation, tools and manufacturing environment.
  • Consistently follow workplace safety procedures and ensure manufacturing crews are working safely according to company policies.
  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures and training needed to complete work in a safe manner.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
  • Immediately identify, correct, and/or report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Help drive and sustain lean manufacturing principles.
  • Obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.
  • Show eagerness and ability to accept increasing responsibility.
  • Provide technical assistance to other team members as needed.
  • Provide direction, training, and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
  • Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.
  • Work as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, Faith Technologies Inc, and customer-specific safety requirements.
  • Install, maintain, and/or troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Consistently complete portions of projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
  • Comprehend and incorporate specifications effectively.
  • Coach and inspire General Assemblers/Apprentices to surpass customer expectations and company vision/goals.
  • Actively participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
