Collision Auto Body Technician

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Jam out dents, dimples, and minor body damage; mix and apply filler resins when other methods are not feasible.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified or equivalent paint.
• Attempt to complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

• Read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Understand methods and procedures for repairing vehicle bodies.
• Use tools required for the trade proficiently.

• Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Hourly rate: $21 – $32. Flat‑rate compensation tied to booked hours with minimum wage guarantee. Additional pay is commensurate with skill, education, and experience and may include bonus opportunities.
