RFID Lab:
Simulation Team Software Developer (Undergrad)
The student worker will research, design, and develop desktop and augmented reality software projects in the fields of radio frequency, signal processing, and real-time simulation. These projects primarily take advantage of skills in the areas of research, game development, and user design to visualize and interact with radio frequency technologies.
Essential Functions- Research deep unfamiliar topics in the realm of radio frequency identification and signal processing.
- Design innovative features for desktop, augmented reality, and simulation software.
- Develop algorithms and techniques that reinvent signal understanding and processing.
- Collaborate closely with the tight-knit members that make up the Simulation Team and collaborate broadly with the large organization that is Auburn University’s RFID Lab.

Minimum Qualifications- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
- Available to start this semester.
- Experience with game development software such as Unity, Unreal, or Godot.
- Experience with object‑oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, or Python.
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University student (preferably an undergraduate Sophomore or Junior).
- Available for the Summer and Fall semesters.
- Proficiency in linear algebra and trigonometry.
- User design experience.
- Web design experience.
Pay Rate $15.00/hour
