Compensation:
The starting compensation for this $16.00 hourly. Disclosure:
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and company compensation guidelines.
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for processing pending and received enrollments and preparing packages for non-financial aid students.
Essential Job TasksAdditional duties may be assigned.
- Processes enrollments and packages daily, and updates accounts as required.
- Research and communicate accurate information via phone, text, email, and chat to students the necessary information regarding their account.
- Provide proper documentation, contact notes, and follow-up needs within the student file.
- Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- Consistently available for phone rotation and chat.
- Provide departmental backup as needed.
- Assist students with enrollments by submitting an enrollment for the student or by communicating step‑by‑step procedures on submitting an enrollment online.
- Promotes, maintains, and enhances workplace culture within the Department of Student Accounts and the university.

Knowledge- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Office equipment, including computers, telephones, and printers
- Software used includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, Anthology, Chat Beacon, Ring Central, and internal database software.
- Reliable and secure internet is required for this position.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The position is hybrid, and when working remotely, the employee should have a designated workspace free from distractions and noise. When on‑site, this position requires working in an office setting with the use of fluorescent lighting. Candidates should be comfortable working in an environment with fluorescent lights, which may be present throughout the workspace.
The on‑site work environment is a climate‑controlled office setting, primarily sedentary, with frequent sitting, occasional walking and lifting, and frequent near‑vision use for reading and computer work. The noise level is generally moderate.
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
