Summary

To assist loan officers with the servicing and closing of commercial and consumer loans.

Responsibilities
  • Assist loan officers as necessary with all aspects of loan closings.
  • Engage appraisers and attorneys.
  • Coordinate loan closing with attorneys.
  • Process loan payments and other entries related to loan closings and customer servicing.
  • Handle incoming customer calls regarding servicing on accounts.
  • Assist in clearing exceptions and collecting past due accounts.
  • Check NSF items for accounts assigned to loan officers.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
  • Work with the loan documentation department to coordinate and prepare loan documents for closing.
  • Gather required documentation to facilitate loan closings (e.g., tax records, insurance).
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; 2‑year associate’s or college degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of loan processing experience required.
  • Familiarity with loan program guidelines.
  • Knowledge of consumer, commercial, and real‑estate loans, regulations, procedures, and documentation.
  • Personal computer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Laser‑Pro.
  • Detail‑oriented.
  • Accurate.
  • Reliable.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Works well as a team.
Essential Mental &

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift, move, or carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship,” the employee must be accommodated; hence, lifting/moving/carrying is omitted as a physical requirement.
