Public Area Attendant

Location:

Hilton Garden Inn, Orange Beach.

• Always approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the individual property.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
• Clean and maintain orderliness of lobby, meeting rooms, restrooms, hallways, restaurants, banquet halls, gyms, and any other public areas.
• Perform daily duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors frequently, polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators, and emptying ashtrays and trashcans.
• Perform routine floor checks to maintain cleanliness on each floor and elevator landing.
• Assist guests in public areas when required.
• Address and resolve all guest complaints quickly and accurately.
• Show initiative in job performance by anticipating the needs of guests and team members alike.
• Have good knowledge of all hotel facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, shops, and function rooms.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any safety issues to management immediately.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
