Position Summary:
The Retail Worker in a restaurant setting is responsible for assisting guests with purchases of merchandise, take-home food items, and branded products. This role ensures a welcoming customer experience, maintains organized displays, and handles transactions efficiently in the retail area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in the retail section of the restaurant.
• Provide product information and answer guest questions about merchandise and to-go items.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Restock shelves, displays, and storage areas with merchandise and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space.
• Set up attractive displays and rotate products as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock or discrepancies.
• Package and label to-go items or gift products as required.
• Follow all cash handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Provide exceptional guest service aligned with the restaurant's overall experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and POS system skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
