Gastroenterologist Positions Available - Hospitalist and Traditional Practice Model

Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG) in collaboration with Advent Health Fish Memorial are seeking Gastroenterologist Hospitalists and Traditional Outpatient Gastroenterologists to be part of our team.

GI Hospitalist Overview:

• Starting Salary up to $700,000 in year one including signing bonus and relocation!! NO STATE INCOME TAX
• The GI Hospitalist would cover Advent Health Fish Memorial to cover inpatient GI consults from the floor and emergency department.
• Ready access to endoscopy for procedures and should be comfortable with all aspects of Gastroenterology, capability for ECPR and EUS are available
• Our network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease.
• 7 on/7 off; 182 shifts/year - APP support will also be provided in the hospital setting

Outpatient Gastroenterologist Overview:

• Competitive Base salary and Bonus structure -
• Primarily working in the outpatient clinic but would need to be available for inpatient coverage on occasion,
• Inpatient will be supported by the hospitalist team primarily
• Dedicated endoscopy time, MAs, APPs
• Full support staff in the clinic, EPIC EMR System both in clinic and hospital

Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required.

Practice Overview
The practice is a part of Advent Health Medical Group. This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. AHMG is a sister organization of Advent Health which employs 400+ physicians in almost all individual service lines.

Hospital Description

The facility is a 250+ bed campus and began as Fish Memorial in 1952, in DeLand, Florida. In 1994, the hospital was renamed Volusia Medical Center and relocated to Orange City to serve the growing population of southwest Volusia County. In 1996, the Adventist Health System purchased Volusia Medical Center and in 1998, renamed the facility Florida Hospital Fish Memorial to honor the hospitals benefactor, Judge Bert Fish.

In 2003, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial expanded and in 2007 Fish Imaging opened on the hospital campus. In 2015, Deltona Health Park opened as part of our continued promise to provide quality health care to the residents of Southwest Volusia County and Fish Imaging relocated to Deltona Health Park. In January 2019, the hospital was renamed to Advent Health Fish Memorial.
