Assist in mobilization: offloading the dredge, slurry pipe, dewatering equipment, and other support equipment.;
Set the dredge into the water, cabling and assembling the machine, and fusing or bolting the pipeline.;
Set up the dewatering equipment and Geo-tube placement, depending on the configuration of the job site and dewatering process.;
Assist in the dredging operations including moving the dredge, adding polymer to the chemical injection system, taking periodic samples of the slurry, assisting in fueling, greasing, and checking all mechanical equipment, and ensuring proper dewatering of geotubes.;
Assist the dredge operator in cleaning the cutter head, bunkering fuel, and conducting preventive or corrective maintenance to the dredge.
