A
Trash Sorter
is responsible for separating recyclable materials from waste streams and preparing them for further processing or recycling. This role is common in recycling facilities, waste management companies, and environmental programs, and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Sorting and Segregating Materials
:
Identify and separate recyclables such as paper, glass, plastic, and metals from non-recyclablesInspecting and Removing Non-Recyclables

Check conveyor belts or waste streams for items that cannot be recycled and remove themOperating Equipment

Use and maintain sorting machinery, compactors, and other recycling equipment, following safety regulationsMaintaining Cleanliness
