RN Clinical Improvement Coordinator

Job Description

• MUST HAVE ER EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrates bedside clinical skills and proficiency in EMR documentation. Develops and executes unit-based staff education on new equipment, medication, policy and procedure changes, and advances in clinical practice.
• Works with the Nurse Manager to facilitate successful onboarding of new staff.
• Rounds on patients as directed by Nursing Director, providing feedback to nursing staff including coaching and guidance to improve patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Provides coaching and guidance to individual nursing staff members to achieve improved performance and outcomes.
• Provides objective information for employee’s 90-day and yearly performance evaluations.

• Computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and must be adaptable to new software programs. [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing Required

• 3+ years of clinical experience [Required]

• N/A

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
