- Job Type: Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
- Salary: $25.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour, negotiable - depending upon experience
- MUST have a clean driving record.
- Reporting any violations or unsafe practice where there is imminent danger to life or property’s
- Assist in promoting safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Assist in conducting jobsite and work area inspections.
- Participate in administration of drug screening program (post-accident random and cause) that is consistent with Chinchor Electric’s Company requirements.
- Assist with maintaining training materials and certification records.
- Must be able to make independent decisions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma plus two years’ related safety experience. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, fleet staff, drivers, and the public. - Reasoning Ability
:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to work under time and budgetary constraints. - Computer
Skills:
Skilled knowledge of computerized accounting systems and administrative software. Working Knowledge of Database software;
Internet software;
Excel, Word, Outlook. - Communication:Excellent organizational, team building, and leadership skills are required.
Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
