Salary: $34+, Based on experience

Travel & night work may be required. MUST be able to work out of town and nights, on occasion.

Chinchor Electric, Inc. is currently looking for a Traffic Signal Superintendent
. This position will supervise projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be the liaison from Project Manager to crews and any contractors, subcontractors and/or site representatives. We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience.

• Minimum of 3 years supervising FDOT projects.
• Must have necessary skills in understanding the plans and specifications, means and methods of construction and reporting.
• CDL Class A (valid with a clean driving record)
• Traffic Signal experience required.
• ITS experience required.
• Highway Lighting experience preferred.
• Roadway Signing experience preferred.

• Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Develop a working understanding of plans, specifications, and other requirements and constraints of each project, and ensure all subordinates understand their responsibilities for executing job duties.
• Supervise subordinates, and crew operations to ensure all are conducted to high standards that meet or exceed Project requirements and Client expectations.
• Oversee maintenance, care, and inventory of all equipment, including availability of supplies and parts.
• Ensure all training needs are met and current for all subordinates.
• Participate in Project start-up and progress meetings.
• Prepare all activity, safety, and progress reports.
• Report any problems to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Oversee site operations to ensure safe conditions.

Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
