The General Surgery Program at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Jacksonville, FL has an unexpected opening for a PGY1 Categorical Resident in General Surgery starting July

Qualified applicants must have graduated from an accredited US medical school or hold a valid ECFMG certificate. Applications should be submitted in a single PDF file and contain:

• Curriculum Vitae
• Brief Personal Statement
• Medical School Diploma and Transcript
• Dean's Letter
• USMLE Parts I, II, III (if taken) scores (must be first pass) or COMLEX I, II-CE, III(if taken) scores
• ABSITE scores and reports for all years completed(if taken)
• Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation
• Copy of ECFMG (if applicable)

Candidates must be able to attend in-person interviews Saturday, July 11 to be considered. We will consider candidates who have completed a PGY1 preliminary surgery from July 2025-June 2026, or trainees starting July 1 from other programs.
