RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Learning

• Undertake teaching and related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials; conducting classes/lectures, tutorials, and practicals; consulting with students; invigilation; marking; and assessment.
• Participate in and contribute to high-quality programme and curriculum development.
• Plan and implement teaching strategies to optimize student learning and motivation.
• Support research project work and scholarship of postgraduate students.
• Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the university's expectations.

Research

• Participate in scholarly activities, including research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work.
• Support efforts to secure grants for research activities and scholarship as a co-researcher.
• Achieve research outcome targets for the Associate Professor level of appointment.

Administration and Other Activities

• Contribute to administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, participating in committees and working groups within the department, school, and faculty.
• Participate in relevant professional activities continuously.
• Assist in establishing linkages with external organizations and professional bodies in academic matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Expertise in teaching and research in marketing, with a focus on Family Business
  .
• Possession of a PhD or DBA in Family Business
  .
• At least 10 publications in Q1 and Q2 journals (ISI, SCOPUS, Clarivate) in the last five years in Scopus.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in higher education with a strong record of teaching, curriculum development, coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills.
• Preferably with an h-index of 12 in Scopus.
• Graduated at least 4 PhD students.
• Research grant experience of RM200,000 – RM300,000.
• Ability to establish linkages with external organizations and professional bodies locally and internationally.
• Possession of at least 1 Intellectual Property (IP) such as patents, copyrights, or trademarks.
