Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) supporting PreK-12 students in an engaging educational environment. This on-site role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by working with diverse student populations across multiple school locations in the greater Jacksonville, FL area for the  academic year.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP License (CCC required)
  • At least 1-2 years of prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of mild to moderate communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Flexibility as an itinerant therapist visiting more than one school site
  • Up-to-date fingerprint clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse (or willingness to complete requirement)
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related staff
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students ranging from PreK-12th grade, with an estimated caseload of 60 students (subject to confirmation)
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate intervention documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to foster student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom setting
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed to support student needs (assignment of campuses to be confirmed)
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
This position runs from August 10, 2026 to May 28, 2027, with a schedule of 35 hours per week (7-hour days), aligning with the traditional school calendar.
