Part-Time Instructional Position
This position is a part-time instructional position and receives $46 - $48 an hour.

Purpose:
The EMS Adjunct Instructor provides high-quality instruction in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) courses within the Allied Health Department. This position supports student learning and program objectives through effective teaching, preparation of instructional materials, assessment of student performance, and adherence to College instructional and accreditation standards.

Instruction & Student Engagement:
- Teach assigned Emergency Medical Services courses in accordance with departmental and College standards.
- Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, and course assessments.
- Facilitate student learning through classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction as assigned.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and course documentation.
Program & Institutional Support:
- Support program goals, accreditation standards, and instructional quality initiatives.
- Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and professional development as appropriate.
- Maintain professional licensure and certifications required for EMS instruction.
- Follow College policies and procedures related to instruction and student conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensed Florida Paramedic or licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Minimum of three years of field experience with an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider.
- Completion of Level A coursework listed in the National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors.
- Applicant must pass verification of employment/reference screening and a background check.
