The Director of Clinical Student Success and Operations is a full-time, on-site position located in either Orange Park, FL, Knoxville, TN, or Harrogate Tennessee. T he Director for Clinical Student Success and Operations provides strategic operational leadership for the clinical education continuum and serves as the primary administrative partner to the Dean of Clinical Medicine. The Director coordinates systems that support clinical student progression, board readiness, clinical operations, data reporting, and continuous quality improvement while ensuring consistent implementation of institutional policies across all campuses.
This position focuses on coordination, oversight, communication, and operational excellence rather than duplicating the transactional work of specialized staff.
- Experience in undergraduate medical education
- Knowledge of osteopathic medical education, COMLEX-USA, and clinical curriculum operations.
- Experience supporting accreditation activities and educational technology platforms
- Experience designing and implementing student success initiatives, such as academic advising, mentoring, remediation, and professional skills development in a clinical or health professions setting.
- Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and use of educational or clinical management systems to monitor student outcomes and drive process improvement.
- Proven organizational and project management abilities, including setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and overseeing complex workflows and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external clinical partners.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s degree or higher in education, health professions, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience in clinical education, academic administration, or student affairs within higher education, especially in health-related programs.
