Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in Orange Park, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to manage and oversee collections processes in both commercial and consumer settings. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in credit and billing collections, as well as proficiency in business-to-business integration.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounts receivable collections for commercial and consumer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.

- Implement and refine collection processes to maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

- Monitor billing and payment activities to identify overdue accounts and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address payment concerns and negotiate solutions.

- Utilize B2B integration tools to streamline communication and transactions between business partners.

- Analyze credit data to assess risk and make informed decisions on collections strategies.

- Manage and track collection activities using HCM SaaS Oracle Fusion systems.

- Provide regular reports on collection performance and outstanding receivables to management.

- Train and guide entry level staff on effective collection practices and tools.

- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive financial information. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in collections, with expertise in both commercial and consumer accounts.

- Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection processes.

- Proven experience with business-to-business integration (B2

Bi) tools.

- Familiarity with HCM SaaS Oracle Fusion systems.

- Excellent analytical skills for assessing credit risks and creating strategies.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills for resolving payment issues.

- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.

- Detail-oriented approach to managing financial records and ensuring compliance.
