Emergency Room Sonographer PRN

PRN (as needed), On call, and holiday shifts

Work location can be HCA FL Orange Park Hospital or any of our Free Standing Emergency Departments. for OPH and 4 FSED (Normandy Park, Middleburg, Royal Pines and Park West). PRNs usually work minimum of 4 shifts per month with one of the shifts on a weekend.

The sonographer performs procedures utilizing ultrasound techniques in accordance with Medical

Imaging policies and protocols. The sonographer provides care in a manner that promotes

positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and

staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or Certificate, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
