Wolfson Children's Hospital Rehab Services is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient Rehab Team. This is a Part-Time position located at Wolfson Children's Clay outpatient rehab clinic in the Fleming Island community of Jacksonville, Florida (Clay County).
The Occupational Therapist will support the Wolfson Children's Hospital Rehab team by working with patients under the age of 18 with a varied caseload. This position requires a candidate with previous experience working with children and previous neuro, ortho and outpatient patient experience.
Job Responsibilities- Evaluates and treats patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
- Extensive patient/family education.
- Works with multidisciplinary team care.
- Pediatric Occupational Therapy in the outpatient setting (strongly preferred).
- Orthopedics.
- Splinting Experience.
- Developmental Experience.
- Occupational Therapy Experience.
- Wound Care Experience.
- Experience working in an Acute Care setting.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist from FL Department of Health.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
