Registered Nurse, Pediatirc Operating Room, PRN

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to its Pediatric Operating Room at our Wolfson Surgery Center. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity. As a Registered Nurse Circulator, you will work closely with physicians and all operating room teams, acting as the patient’s primary advocate during the intra‑operative period.

• Coordinate and prepare the assigned operating room and case.
• Assess patients and anticipate the needs of each surgical case.
• Perform accurate and complete documentation.
• Verify patient information, position the patient, manage the room, and initiate counts.
• Provide continuous circulation nursing care, ensuring the patient is appropriately cared for until transfer to PACU.
• No call coverage or holiday call.

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required);
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• 1–2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Must have OR experience or complete a Periop 101 class.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (required).
• Registered Nurse (RN) – State Nursing Board (required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA (preferred).
• Driver’s License (preferred).

This position requires a Level II background check (detailed fingerprint‑based screening for positions of trust that check state and national criminal history).
