Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position at a Level II trauma center in Northeast Florida, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and Charge RN experience.

Job Details

• Work in a 10-OR surgical suite at a 317-bed Level II trauma center hospital in Orange Park, FL,

• Surgical specialties include General Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Robotic, General Surgery, Urology, GYN, ENT, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Maxillofacial, Hand, Vascular, and Open Heart,

• 1:1 patient ratio,

• Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM,

• 13-week contract,

• Charge RN responsibilities required,

• Documentation system:
Meditech,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or Compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC,

• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required,

• Minimum 1 year of Charge RN experience required,

• US SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• Two professional references required (Florida requirement),

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment start date,

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible,

• The hospital is a recognized Level II trauma center and holds accreditations including the Get With The Guidelines - Gold Plus Stroke Achievement Award and Top Performer on Quality Measures recognition from The Joint Commission,

• Ceil blue scrubs required,

• Located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Jacksonville, with nearby outdoor activities including golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks
