Registered Nurse, Pediatric Perianesthesia, PRN Wolfson Children's Hospital

Position Overview

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Wolfson Surgery Center. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity with a commitment of 2 shifts per week.

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and significant others/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare assigned room/case, assess patient care needs and anticipate the needs of the case.
• Provide care in a fast-paced peri-operative unit, specializing in Pre Op and Phase 2 recovery.
• No major holidays, no weekends, and no call required.

• 2-4 years Emergency Department, ICU, or Surgical Services experience.

• Associate of Science in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Required
• Driver's License – Required (DMV)

Position requires a Level II Background check (detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that checks state and national criminal history). Screening is a condition of employment and continued employment.
