Temporary Bookstore Assistant
This is a Part-Time Position with a pay of $16.92 an hour.
St. Johns River State College is seeking Temporary Bookstore Assistant to support operations during the seasonal book rush period. This position plays a vital role in assisting students and customers with textbook purchases, supplies, and general bookstore needs in a fast-paced retail environment. Expected Duration:
August 10, 2026 – September 11, 2026
Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Assist with textbook sales, merchandise restocking, and inventory management
Operate the register and process transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Support the bookstore team during high-traffic periods
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalent diploma
At least one year of retail and/or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including peak rush periods
Must pass employment verification, reference screening, and background check
