Florida Home Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Lead Service Tech to support residential customers across Jacksonville. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you'll diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems, perform maintenance, and lead by example on quality, safety, and professionalism. You'll mentor junior techs, communicate clearly with homeowners, and recommend reliable, energy-efficient solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead residential HVAC service, diagnostics, and repair on heating and cooling systems
- Troubleshoot system issues, recommend solutions, and perform quality repairs
- Install, start up, and commission HVAC equipment and controls as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on residential systems
- Train, mentor, and support junior technicians on service calls
- Communicate clearly with homeowners on findings, options, and pricing
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with codes and company standards
- Complete work orders, documentation, and inventory usage accurately
- Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule and performance goals
