Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for high-volume transactions, including entries with up to 1,000 lines.
- Analyze large data sets using advanced Excel functions to support financial reporting.
- Manage general accounting tasks including reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Support investment fund accounting for mutual funds, private equity, and whole loan accounts.
- Assist with preparing financial statements and technical accounting documentation as needed.
- 7+ years of general accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Apply strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively with large transaction volumes and complex data sets.
- Show experience in investment fund or mortgage-related accounting.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all accounting functions.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferably have experience with Business Central ERP systems.
- Possess technical accounting experience, including financial statement preparation.
- Bring prior experience from a Big 4 accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).
- Maintain an active CPA license or be on track to obtain certification.
