Job Responsibilities:
- Record monthly elimination entries and roll forward month-end workbooks
- Upload and validate financials from third-party management companies
- Reconcile cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needed
- Compile PDF files for the monthly accounting binder and maintain documentation
- Prepare rent schedules and percentage rent calculations from lease agreements
- Assist in modifying reporting templates to align with new operator structures
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial formatting and documentation
- Support acquisition-related accounting tasks and reporting needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet month-end and audit deadlines
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- 6+ years of accounting experience, including some experience in the real estate industry
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel functions such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, and INDIRECT
- Show attention to detail, especially in formatting and data presentation
- Bring experience with MRI, BPC, or Oracle systems (Oracle transition preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
