Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit entities
- Create and maintain supporting work papers for all tax return filings
- Assist with quarterly tax provisions and tax receivable agreement work papers
- Coordinate with external CPA firms to meet internal and external tax deadlines
- Support the Tax Manager with tax planning, research, and special projects
- 1+ year(s) of tax experience or hold a Master's in Taxation
- Show strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Communicate effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
- Apply excellent analytical and writing skills to tax-related tasks
- Use Microsoft Excel and other Office tools proficiently in daily work
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Understand tax concepts relevant to partnerships, corporations, and nonprofits
- Bring experience or familiarity with real estate, land development, or homebuilding industries
- Perform tax research using tools like Checkpoint or similar platforms
- Use tax software such as Lacerte or equivalent to prepare and review returns
