Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all processes related to customer setup for fuel contracts, projects, stations, and fleet card accounts.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries for revenue, rebates, and fuel incentives.
- Generate and reconcile revenue and volume reports, including daily volume tracking.
- Review and approve CPI calculations, fuel indices, and gas cost data provided by analysts.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior billing team members as needed.
- 5+ years of billing experience in a related financial or accounting role.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with billing systems and reporting tools.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inconsistencies in billing data.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support account management.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple billing processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Possess experience with D365 software or similar ERP systems (preferred).
- Understand and apply accounting principles, including SOX compliance and audit support.
- Utilize Quick Books, Excel, and other accounting software to manage billing and reporting tasks.
- Interpret and apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and statistical analysis.
