Job Responsibilities:
- Support the revenue process by assisting with the determination of accounting under ASC six zero six and preparing related disclosures.
- Prepare journal entries perform account reconciliations and assist with general accounting analysis for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Maintain accounting system reports assist other departments with accounting questions and support consistent application of policies.
- Assist with preparation of information used for annual and quarterly filings including tie out procedures earnings releases and supporting schedules.
- Support internal control requirements assist audits research technical issues prepare memos and contribute ideas to improve processes and participate in special projects.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution and be a CPA or CPA candidate.
- 5+ years of accounting experience including three years in public accounting from a national firm.
- Understand internal controls SOX four zero four requirements and maintain accuracy in financial information.
- Use Excel at an advanced level and work confidently in enterprise resource planning systems.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Apply strong knowledge of United States accounting principles and support research of technical matters.
- Assist with SEC related reporting and maintain organized documentation for internal and external reviewers.
- Provide accurate reconciliations support system maintenance and offer feedback that improves team efficiency.
- Bring experience in manufacturing environments considered beneficial along with familiarity in consolidation tools.
- Demonstrate careful attention to detail ability to multitask and a consistent professional approach.
