Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and compare standard costing to actual production results
- Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Prepare metric reports for Production and Inventory Managers to support decision-making
- Research purchase price variances and identify root causes for discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close and support year-end audit activities
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Use Microsoft Excel proficiently, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Communicate effectively and present financial data clearly to various stakeholders
- Resolve problems with sound judgment and attention to detail
- Work with accounting software confidently; experience with Epicor Kinetics is a major plus
- A BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
- Understand cost accounting principles and inventory reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations
- Maintain accuracy in reporting and documentation under tight deadlines
- Support continuous improvement in financial reporting and operational efficiency
