Job Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable vendor and intercompany invoices accurately and on time.
- Prepare payment journals and checks for disbursement in accordance with company schedules.
- Perform daily reconciliations between accounts payable records and bank statements.
- Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with special projects and support other accounting functions as needed.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals required during month-end closing.
- Assist in developing and improving accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Help prepare year-end files, including 1099 forms and related documentation.
- Research and resolve issues related to vendor statements and account discrepancies.
- Utilize knowledge of AX Dynamics or D365, if available, to enhance workflow efficiency.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 5+ years of related experience or training.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Understand basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
