Job Responsibilities:
- Champion daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable team to drive performance and efficiency.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Spearhead the preparation of journal entries, invoice management, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for financial and tax reporting.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to support timely payments and service excellence.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Show advanced proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Apply strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles in daily operations.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills to support reporting and analysis.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Mentor and inspire junior staff to support professional growth and team development.
- Partner with external auditors and implement internal controls to strengthen financial integrity.
- Lead process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and agility within the department.
- Exhibit a proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for leadership and continuous improvement.
