Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $145,000 to $155,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee audit activities including preparation of reports and coordination with external auditors.
Lead the yearly budget process review projected financials and manage year end inventory efforts.
Direct daily accounting operations including general ledger receivables payables and margin analysis by product group.
Maintain internal controls conduct bank covenant reviews and support upgrades and maintenance of financial systems.
Supervise accounting staff develop policies prepare monthly quarterly and yearly reports and communicate financial information to the chief operating officer.

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in accounting with a master degree preferred.
5+ years of experience managing a professional accounting team in a private industry setting.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and experience within manufacturing environments.
Use accounting systems confidently and maintain accuracy in reporting and cash flow planning.
Communicate clearly with leadership and support decision making with timely financial insights.

Qualifications:

Maintain records in accordance with accounting standards and support audits throughout the year.
Monitor receivable activity identify credit concerns and provide updates to leadership.
Support internal control requirements including testing and related procedures.
Participate in process improvement projects and recommend enhancements to accounting workflows.
Apply strong analytical organization and leadership skills to manage accounting functions effectively.
