Job Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly quarterly and annual close processes by preparing and reviewing journal entries accruals and account analyses.
- Prepare financial statements reports and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting needs.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances against budget prior periods and expected results.
- Partner with cross functional teams to resolve accounting issues support segment reporting and improve processes.
- Support audit activities maintain internal controls and research accounting treatment for complex transactions.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong involvement in close and reporting activities.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards and practical application in financial reporting.
- Use Excel at an advanced level and work comfortably with large data sets and financial systems.
- Communicate clearly and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
- Provide guidance to junior staff and serve as a resource for accounting related questions.
- Maintain strong attention to detail analytical skills and problem solving ability in daily work.
- Support year end activities regulatory reporting and audit documentation as needed.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
- Bring professional certification system experience or industry background considered beneficial.
