Job Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and track related activity such as fees and interest.
- Record and monitor incoming payments and ensure proper allocation within financial systems.
- Support month end close by maintaining accurate general ledger activity and preparing journal entries.
- Analyze financial data, including balance sheet accounts and budget comparisons, to identify trends.
- Manage a portfolio of properties and assist with reporting, distributions, and project related accounting needs.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with property accounting concepts or general accounting practices.
- Prior experience working with accounting systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in financial tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills when working with teams and stakeholders.
- Self motivated approach with willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review financial data and identify issues.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating on team initiatives.
- Previous experience supporting special projects and adapting to changing priorities.
