Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and record cash activity accurately within the general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations across receivables prepaids accruals and liability accounts.
- Review payroll activity and ensure proper recording and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
- Maintain fixed asset records support property tax filings and manage unclaimed property reporting.
- Support audit processes ensure compliance with internal controls and collaborate with departments to resolve issues.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance business or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of general accounting experience with focus on general ledger activities.
- Demonstrate experience with fixed assets and property tax reporting requirements.
- Use Excel at an intermediate to advanced level and work with enterprise accounting systems.
- Communicate clearly and maintain strong interpersonal skills across teams.
- Analyze financial accounts and investigate fluctuations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process wire transfers and manage cash related transactions with attention to accuracy.
- Maintain organized documentation to support audits reporting and internal controls.
- Adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Demonstrate reliability professionalism and a proactive approach to problem solving.
