Job Responsibilities:
- Lead month end quarter end and year end close activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries accruals and account analyses.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances against budgets and prior periods.
- Support audit processes by providing documentation reconciling accounts and addressing inquiries.
- Partner with cross functional teams to resolve accounting issues improve processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to close and reporting activities.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards and practical application in financial reporting.
- Use Excel at an advanced level and work comfortably with large data sets and accounting systems.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Research and evaluate complex accounting matters and recommend appropriate treatment for transactions.
- Maintain strong internal control practices and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Provide guidance to junior staff and serve as a resource for internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem solving ability.
- Bring professional certification system experience or industry specific knowledge considered beneficial.
