Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee month end and quarter end close activities while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and approve journal entries account reconciliations and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain accounting policies procedures and ensure compliance across shared services functions.
- Coordinate internal control activities including audit support and testing requirements.
- Lead develop and manage accounting staff to support performance and workflow continuity.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field with professional certification preferred.
- 7+ years of accounting experience including prior supervisory responsibility.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles regulatory requirements and reporting practices.
- Use Excel and Microsoft Office tools at an advanced level along with enterprise systems experience.
- Communicate clearly and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Build effective organizational processes with attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
- Collaborate successfully within cross functional teams and public company environments.
- Improve workflows and adapt processes to support changing business and reporting needs.
- Bring experience in manufacturing environments or advanced financial systems considered beneficial.
