Sr Accountant

Our growing medical device client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close activities. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, provide financial insights, and mentor junior accounting staff in a small, mission‑driven team of five.

• Support month‑end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain general ledger schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and inventory
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Review accounting work completed by Staff Accountants and provide guidance as needed
• Oversee accounts payable activities, bank reconciliations, and cash reporting
• Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and system‑related initiatives
• Support tax filings, audits, and special projects

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with Quick Books Online
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
